This is from a series about gardener’s preparing for the winter season, mostly images of greenhouses. Greenhouses are special places, they need to connect directly with the outside world and their structure is always fragile one way or another.

Inside the greenhouse at the end of the season is a series of 15 images from greenhouses associated with gardens I have been photographing for the past few years. The end of the season in the greenhouse is very different than the preparations in the gardens themselves, and for the most part, the images show the structure of the buildings that, during the period of growth, are invisible to most.
