Pathways and Snails Above the Oil Fields along the Beach

Added on February 11, 2024 by Jim Roche.

Just before you arrive at the shore, and see the surfers in the distance, you come across fields of yellow bushes, grasses, a few pine trees, complex pathways and oil fields. The oil wells slowly but continuously pump oil and the sea birds and other life attempts to grow. One photographer, taking photos of a crane, sends her daughter to throw rocks so that she can catch an image of the bird in flight.
