Today I finished, I hope, my two year project called Gilmore, a documentary series about a small area of open land under the Skytrain in Burnaby, British Columbia. This small area, once rich in pathways, birds and a green canopy was slowly destroyed and is becoming a multiuse tower. This work documented this change. In the distance, a line of trees forms, The watch quietly from a distance.
From a larger series on loss. This site is hidden away in a low mountainous, hilly area of forest. The love of the mountains can be clearly seen. At night the solar flowers give off a wonderful glow.
